Clinical Nurse Manager - Labor & Delivery Unit

Position Overview
As the L&D Nurse Manager, you will oversee daily operations, ensure clinical excellence, and foster a culture of patient-centered care. This leadership role combines clinical expertise with operational management to deliver superior maternal and infant health outcomes.
Key Responsibilities
Lead and mentor a team of nursing professionals in delivering high-quality maternal care
Drive clinical excellence through evidence-based practice implementation
Optimize unit operations and patient flow management
Ensure regulatory compliance and maintain quality metrics
Develop and implement strategic initiatives to enhance patient experience
Foster interdepartmental collaboration and communication
Monitor and improve clinical outcomes and patient satisfaction metrics
Manage staffing, scheduling, and resource allocation
Support professional development and ongoing education for staff
Participate in quality improvement initiatives and risk management
Required Qualifications
Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) required Current RN license in Texas or compact state eligibility 3-5+ years of Labor & Delivery nursing experience 2+ years of leadership experience in acute care setting BLS certification required ACLS certification preferred NRP and FHM certifications preferred RNC-OB certification (or obtained within 6 months) Strong communication and interpersonal skills Demonstrated leadership and problem-solving abilities Why Join Us?
