Travel Job Description American Traveler is seeking an experienced MS/Tele RN with a current NY license and EPIC proficiency for a dayshift position with holiday coverage required.
Responsibilities Work in a tertiary care hospital on a Medical-Surgical/Telemetry unit Day shift, 3x12-hour shifts per week, 0700-1900 Must work every other weekend Patient ratio ranges from 1:5 to 1:7 on the MedSurg floor Required to float to other units as needed Epic is the EMR used and proficiency is required May wear any combination of navy and white scrubs Pre-assignment online modules will be assigned and must be completed prior to start Return staff eligible if more than 1 year since last assignment in the facility Team-oriented unit with support for travelers Holiday coverage is mandatory for this assignment
Requirements Active NY RN license in hand required for consideration At least 1 year of recent Med/Surg Tele RN experience Must have worked in an acute care setting within the past 6 months Prior U.S. assignment experience required (no first-time US travelers) EPIC charting experience required Applicants must reside more than 75 miles from the facility Ability to work all assigned holidays, with no RTO for Labor Day
