Overview
BD Manufacturing Development Program (MDP) is a three-year rotational program for new engineering graduates passionate about manufacturing. Participants rotate annually through different U.S. locations, gaining hands-on experience in areas like process engineering, lean manufacturing, project management, and quality. The program fosters professional growth through diverse assignments and cross-functional collaboration, with relocation support provided. Ideal candidates are adaptable, strong communicators with leadership potential and a desire to make an impact in medical technology. Duties And Responsibilities
The MDP consists of three one-year rotations that provide a wide variety of work assignments in medical manufacturing and technology. MDP engineers will gain cross functional exposure to process engineering, manufacturing support, lean manufacturing, project management, quality and design. Each year, MDP engineers relocate to a new U.S. location, allowing for a diverse experience with new products, processes, and people. To facilitate rotation through three locations in three years, relocation support is provided to those who qualify. Previous rotations include San Diego, CA; Canaan, CT; Columbus, NE; Franklin Lakes, NJ; Sandy, UT; Covington, GA; and Sumter, SC. Required Qualifications
New engineering graduates with a B.S. or M.S. in Industrial, Mechanical, Manufacturing, Biomechanical, Chemical or equivalent engineering degree Graduating between December 2025 and June 2026 Strong desire for a career in manufacturing Willing and able to relocate three times in three years Legally authorized to work in the United States without restriction as to duration Preferred Qualifications
