IMSAR
Who We Are
Our company exists to promote and protect life, liberty, and the pursuit of happiness. We design, build, and support low Size, Weight, and Power (SWaP), multimode, airborne radar systems. We support the entire lifecycle-often beginning by defining a market where none exists, building the product, training our customers, and providing ongoing field support.
About the Role
We're looking to expand our team by bringing on a Costpoint ERP Manager who lives and breathes Deltek Costpoint. This isn't a user-level role-we need someone who thrives on getting deep into the system, enjoys solving complex problems, and knows how to make ERP systems run smarter, faster, and better. You'll play a key role in implementing and optimizing our use of Costpoint across all departments from sales order entry all the way through operations. Simply put, this position is to oversee the continued implementation, management and ongoing optimization of our Costpoint ERP system.
Just as important as your technical expertise is your ability to align with our team and culture. Our company values define how we work and succeed together:
All In
- We're all in the same boat.
Stand Up
- We stand accountable with integrity.
Can-Do
- We innovate with a can-do attitude.
The way you work with people is critical to the success of this position!
What You'll Do
We're seeking an ERP Manager with a technical edge-someone who not only knows the system inside and out, but also gets excited about finding hidden efficiencies, customizing workflows, and solving real business problems. You'll work cross-functionally with teams in procurement, inventory, manufacturing, project controls, and finance to ensure our Costpoint environment is supporting the business at every level. In addition to the IMSAR team you will work with outside consultants to make our Costpoint ERP system work for IMSAR. This is a role for someone who thrives on figuring things out-someone who doesn't just accept how things are, but constantly looks for how they could be better.
Who You Are
A seasoned ERP systems expert with deep, hands-on knowledge of ERP systems. (hopefully Deltek Costpoint)
Equally comfortable in technical deep dives and operational strategy conversations.
A curious, self-starter who's always looking for more efficient, effective ways to support the business.
Detail-oriented with a strong ability to zoom out and connect daily actions to strategic goals.
Passionate about contributing to a mission-driven team in a government contracting and manufacturing environment.
The go-to point person for consultants-someone who can communicate clearly, manage expectations, and drive results.
Familiar with and capable of managing system add-ons and integrations.
The central coordinator for all ERP implementation and continuous improvement efforts originating from Operations.
Someone who loves sharing knowledge-whether it's weekly Costpoint tips, tricks, or shortcuts that make everyone's workday smoother.
Required Qualifications
Above all, you're a good fit for the team and will enjoy working with us
Years of hands-on experience with ERP system administration, ideally including Manufacturing, Materials, Projects, Purchasing, and Accounting modules. Deltek Costpoint experience is a plus
Understanding of government contracting compliance (FAR, DFARS) and how it impacts ERP processes and data
IT/software background, with experience in system configuration, data workflows, integrations, and troubleshooting
Experience supporting manufacturing operations in an ERP system-especially BOM, routing, MRP, shop floor control, and procurement workflows
Familiarity with SQL, Cognos, Costpoint BI, and data extraction/transformation tools
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills-you love digging in and figuring out how things work (and how they could work better)
Excellent communication skills and a collaborative approach-you can work across departments and with both technical and non-technical users
This is not a work remote or from home position. Working day to day in close proximity with the IMSAR team is critical to the success of this position
Business Intelligence (BI) understanding
Desired Qualifications
Experience with Deltek Time & Expense, Deltek Manufacturing Suite, or Costpoint Planning & Inventory modules
Background in systems administration or ERP implementation projects
Familiarity with DCAA audit standards and indirect rate structures
Prior experience with software integrations, scripting, or API-level connections between Costpoint and external systems
What You Can Expect From Us
A competitive wage
A flexible schedule
A 401(k) match and employer HSA contributions
An excellent benefits package including Medical, Dental, and Vision
100% company paid Short- and Long-Term disability and Life insurance
PTO, plus 11 holidays off throughout the year including the week between Christmas and New Years Day
A really great place to work
