Position Overview
QinetiQ US is seeking a Costpoint Administrator to join our Information Technology team, serving as the subject matter expert (SME) for Deltek Costpoint in a SaaS environment. This individual will bridge the gap between IT operations and finance/accounting, ensuring system functionality aligns with business needs in a government contracting (GovCon) environment. The ideal candidate will have deep knowledge of Costpoint system administration, SaaS applications, and the compliance standards and reporting requirements relevant to federal contracts. Responsibilities
Serve as the primary administrator for Deltek Costpoint, including system configuration, user access management, workflow updates, and integration maintenance. Act as a liaison between IT, Finance, HR, and other business units to support cross-functional system requirements and enhancements. Support and optimize Costpoint modules including Projects, Financials, Time & Expense, Procurement, and Planning. Manage and maintain integrations between Costpoint and other SaaS tools (e.g., payroll, talent systems, procurement platforms). Ensure system security and compliance with DFARS, NIST, and other federal contracting standards. Coordinate and support system upgrades, testing, validation, and post-deployment monitoring. Troubleshoot and resolve system issues, working with vendors or internal teams as needed. Develop and maintain user guides, documentation, and training materials for end users and stakeholders. Monitor system performance, conduct audits, and support data integrity and reporting accuracy. Stay current with updates in Costpoint capabilities, SaaS architecture, and federal IT compliance regulations. Required Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in information systems, Computer Science, Business, or a related field (or equivalent experience). 35+ years of experience administering Deltek Costpoint, preferably in a federal contractor environment. Strong understanding of SaaS architecture, integrations, and system security. Proven experience working in or closely with IT and Finance/Accounting functions. Familiarity with government contracting regulations (FAR/DFARS, DCAA compliance). Experience with user access controls, role permissions, and workflow configurations. Excellent analytical, troubleshooting, and communication skills. Create and maintain complex business intelligence reports, COGNOS, as needed. Preferred Qualifications
Experience with Costpoint 8.x or later. Exposure to or experience with Deltek T&E, Cognos, IBM Reporting, or BI tools. Project management experience related to ERP or SaaS implementations/integrations. IT certifications (e.g., Security+, ITIL) or Deltek training certifications. Company EEO Statement
