Job Details

Prepare and Update P&IDs (Piping & Instrumentation Diagrams) to develop scope of work and create technical bid summaries on projects.

Specify and procure instrumentation including control valves, pressure

regulators, transmitters and analyzers per project requirements

Specify and procure Electrical Control Equipment including PLC, HMI and

related Panel Components per project requirements

Prepare Instrumentation Design Deliverables including Cause & Effect

Matrices, Control Narratives, ISA Datasheets, I/O Lists and Instrument Indices.

Design and develop electrical wiring schematics, BOM (Bill of Materials) and

Panel Layout drawings per appropriate code requirements (NEC and NFPA).

Perform Control System Engineering studies including conceptual design of new

systems and control system retrofits.

Appropriately size components like Relays, Circuit Breakers, Power Supplies,

Fuses, and cables per project specifications.

Develop PLC and HMI programs using AllenBradley, Triconex and other software

solutions for Burner Management Systems (BMS)

Develop Factory / Site Acceptance procedures for equipment and perform

testing

Provide technical support including participation in HAZOP studies and

preparation of operating and maintenance procedures

Knowledge of instrumentation and electrical codes and standards including

NEC, NFPA, CSA, ISA, UL, ATEX and IEC

Participate in Start---Up, Commissioning and trouble---shooting activities at job site
