Beacon Hospice volunteers help create an environment of comfort, compassion and dignity to our patients and their families. Volunteers enjoy listening to patient's stories, reading aloud to patients, playing music and more. Our volunteers also assist our staff with comforting the patient and asking them/families - What matters to them. Finding out What matters to our families and patients is part of how we care for each one of our patients. We are currently looking for volunteers in the greater Weymouth and Quincy area. Free volunteer training will be made available to all participants. Training is either virtually.
