This important role will allow you to set strategic priorities, hire senior leaders, and align budgets with our mission for impactful outreach. Key responsibilities include: Providing visionary leadership in Christian community and leadership development. Creating and sustaining pipelines for future leaders. Overseeing the credentialing of rostered ministers. Collaborating with other directors to build a relevant, welcoming 21st-century church. Applicants must hold a Master's degree and be rostered in the ELCA, with at least 10 years of experience in leadership development and evangelism. A thorough understanding of the Lutheran church, its history, theology, mission, polity, and structure is essential. The ideal candidate will demonstrate: A proven track record in building trust, coaching, and leader development. Experience in fostering new congregations and supporting vital, growing ministries. Excellent interpersonal skills and a strong commitment to diversity, equity, inclusion, and anti-racism. Ability to engage effectively with a diverse population.
