Looking for a rewarding volunteer position? Look no further! Come join the volunteer team at New Century Hospice! Be a part of our special team of New Century Hospice volunteers. We care for our patients in the place that they call home. Could be a private residence, a skilled nursing facility, or an assisted living facility. Just a few hours a week can make a lasting impression in the lives of others. Opportunities: Direct patient care- Sitting with patients, working puzzles, reading, watching a movie or TV, life review, playing games, etc. This could also include caregiver relief if in a private residence, you would stay with patient while caregiver runs errands, takes time for themselves or goes to appointments. Office- work in our office assisting staff with administrative duties including answering phones, copying, filing, assembling packets, auditing, and data entry.
