We are seeking experienced
Travel Registered Nurses (Labor & Delivery)
to join a high-acuity, fast-paced unit. Nurses will provide comprehensive care for laboring mothers, postpartum patients, and high-risk antepartum patients, ensuring safe delivery outcomes through evidence-based practices. Unit Details
Beds/Rooms:
19 patient rooms, 6 PACU rooms, 6 triage rooms, 3 L&D ORs Staffing Matrix (Nights):
1 Charge RN, 7-9 RNs, 1 CST Patient Ratios:
2:1 (standard), 1:1 for high-risk/complicated cases Equipment:
FHR monitors (Novii & GE), fetal scalp electrodes (FSE) EMR:
Meditech, CPN Required Qualifications
Experience:
Minimum 3+ years recent Labor & Delivery RN experience Certifications:
BLS, NRP Preferred:
ACLS/ALS, experience in Mom/Baby, Pediatrics, and/or NICU Responsibilities
Manage and support patients through vaginal deliveries, c-sections, and recovery care Direct and coordinate nursing care using assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation Collaborate with physicians, CNAs, CSTs, and sitters to deliver safe, patient-centered care Care for antepartum, intrapartum, and postpartum patients including high-risk cases Ideal Candidate
