We are seeking a talented BIM Specialist to provide advanced electrical engineering design services for a variety of federal facility projects. You will lead and coordinate design-build projects, collaborating closely with architects, engineers, and construction teams. Your role involves developing and reviewing technical drawings, specifications, and calculations, ensuring compliance with rigorous federal standards, codes, and client requirements. You will also drive innovation and efficiency throughout the project lifecycle, mentor junior staff, and support project management as needed.

Responsibilities

Provide advanced electrical engineering design services for federal facility projects.

Lead and coordinate design-build projects with architects, engineers, and construction teams.

Develop and review technical drawings, specifications, and calculations.

Ensure all designs comply with federal standards, codes, and client requirements.

Drive innovation and efficiency throughout the project lifecycle.

Mentor junior staff and support project management as needed.

Essential Skills

At least 5 years of electrical engineering experience with federal or healthcare projects.

Demonstrated success in leading design-build projects.

Deep understanding of federal standards, codes, and project delivery methods.

Proficiency in Revit, AutoCAD, and BIM.

Excellent communication skills and ability to work collaboratively with multidisciplinary teams.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

Professional Engineer (PE) licensure is a plus.

10+ years of BIM experience.

Experience with healthcare or federal projects.

Proficiency in Navisworks, VDC, and construction document management.

Work Environment

This is a fully remote position, providing flexibility and work-life balance. The project is expected to last at least three years, with opportunities for long-term fit as more projects follow.

Job Type & Location

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Dallas, Texas.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $40.00 - $60.00/hr.
