Assist the Nurse Manager in overseeing daily operations of the Orthopedic Unit, ensuring efficient workflow and staffing. Provide direct patient care as needed and support staff in complex clinical situations. Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to ensure cohesive and effective patient care delivery. Monitor patient outcomes, implement quality improvement initiatives, and ensure adherence to safety protocols. Serve as a mentor and resource for nursing staff, supporting professional growth and development. Participate in staff scheduling, performance evaluations, and conflict resolution. Maintain compliance with hospital policies, state regulations, and accreditation standards. Candidate requirements
Current RN license in Washington. Bachelor's degree in Nursing (BSN) is required; Master's degree is preferred. Minimum of 3 years of clinical experience in orthopedic or medical-surgical nursing, with some leadership or supervisory experience preferred. Strong understanding of orthopedic nursing care standards and best practices. Excellent organizational, communication, and interpersonal skills. Ability to collaborate effectively within a multidisciplinary team.
