Maintenance Engineer - Hotel

Key Responsibilities:
- Perform routine inspections and preventive maintenance on all hotel facilities, including HVAC, plumbing, electrical systems, and building infrastructure.
- Respond promptly to maintenance requests from guests and staff, ensuring minimal disruption to hotel operations.
- Troubleshoot and repair mechanical, electrical, and plumbing issues efficiently and safely.
- Maintain detailed records of maintenance activities, repairs, and inspections.
- Coordinate with external contractors and vendors for specialized repairs and services.
- Ensure compliance with safety regulations and hotel policies at all times.
- Assist in the installation of new equipment and upgrades to existing systems.
- Conduct regular safety checks and ensure the hotel environment adheres to health and safety standards.
Skills and Qualifications:
- Proven experience as a maintenance engineer or similar role, preferably in the hospitality industry.
- Strong knowledge of electrical, plumbing, HVAC, and general building systems.
- Ability to troubleshoot and resolve technical issues efficiently.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Good communication skills and the ability to work independently or as part of a team.
- Physical ability to perform manual tasks and lift heavy objects.
- Relevant certifications or licenses in electrical, plumbing, or HVAC systems are preferred.
- Flexibility to work on weekends, holidays, and outside regular hours as needed.
