leading biopharmaceutical company is seeking a
Buyer/Planner (GMP) I - Supply Chain Operations Specialist
to support external contract manufacturing operations. In this role, you will coordinate supply needs for commercial and clinical drug products, including production planning, purchase orders, shipments, and inventory management.
This position requires close collaboration with cross-functional teams such as Supply Chain, Operations, Quality, Logistics, and Technical Development, as well as external contract manufacturers, to ensure uninterrupted product supply in a highly regulated environment.
Key Responsibilities Coordinate production schedules and supply needs with contract manufacturers. Manage purchase orders, process orders, and supplier communications. Oversee inbound/outbound shipments and related ERP transactions. Monitor inventory levels and material requirements using ERP/MRP (SAP preferred). Resolve supply issues, order discrepancies, and invoice/payment concerns. Collaborate with Supply Chain, Operations, Quality, and Logistics teams to ensure smooth execution. Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in Life Sciences, Business, or Supply Chain Management. 3+ years of experience in Operations or Supply Chain (pharma/regulated manufacturing preferred). Strong ERP/MRP knowledge (SAP highly preferred). Experience in supply planning, procurement, or inventory management. Strong organizational and communication skills with ability to manage competing priorities.
