In this pivotal role, you will serve as the chief academic and administrative officer with the mission to uphold and advance the school’s reputation for excellence in legal education, scholarship, and engagement. Your responsibilities will include fostering an academic community that is responsive to contemporary challenges in the legal field, promoting justice and equity, and representing the school honorably in all settings. As part of this role, you will also serve as a Professor of Law and must possess a J.D. from an ABA-accredited law school, with a strong preference for candidates eligible for appointment as a full professor with tenure or possessing truly exemplary accomplishments in law. Qualifications J.D. from an ABA-accredited law school A distinguished record in legal education or the legal profession Visionary leadership skills with a focus on community engagement and ethical leadership Proven experience in a leadership role within academic or legal settings A deep commitment to fostering a diverse and inclusive academic environment You will work collaboratively with the university's academic leadership to contribute to broader institutional strategies, so demonstrating integrity and effective communication is crucial.
