The university is seeking an
Acting Dean of Law School , a role ideal for a dynamic and visionary leader committed to promoting access to legal education. The successful candidate will serve as the chief academic and administrative officer and will play a pivotal role in enhancing the school’s mission, particularly for underserved and disadvantaged communities. Key responsibilities include: Advancing initiatives to improve bar passage rates. Expanding fundraising efforts to support the school’s programs. Elevating the national profile of the law school. Fostering excellence in teaching, scholarship, service, and community engagement. Supporting innovation and equity across all initiatives. The ideal candidate will possess a J.D. degree, a distinguished record in legal education, and demonstrated experience in academic leadership. This role requires a strategic thinker who is capable of managing and inspiring faculty, staff, and students. The selected individual will show a deep commitment to the institution's values, especially regarding access to legal education and social justice. Strong communication and interpersonal skills are essential, along with the ability to cultivate relationships with a diverse array of stakeholders. The
