Description Conduct comprehensive evaluations of patients in inpatient and outpatient environments and craft individualized treatment plans Implement physical therapy techniques aimed at improving mobility, strength, and functional abilities Work alongside an interdisciplinary team, including doctors, nurses, and rehab specialists, to optimize patient outcomes Guide patients and their families through therapeutic goals, discharge plans, and home exercise routines Maintain detailed documentation of evaluations, treatments, and patient progress in compliance with facility standards Engage in care team meetings for coordinated and effective patient care Education
Doctorate in Physical Therapy (DPT) or equivalent from an accredited institution Certifications
Active state licensure as a
Physical Therapist CPR certification is preferred Specialty certifications (e.g., neuro, geriatrics) are advantageous but not required Skills
Prior experience is highly desirable Ability to manage complex medical and mobility challenges Superior communication and interpersonal skills Proficient with electronic health records and clinical documentation software Benefits
