About Our Client
My client is a well-established, family-owned General Contractor. The work that they do will be in a variety of sectors but primarily the education, commercial, healthcare, light industrial, multifamily, and government spaces up to $25M in value. They provide a full range of services including General Contracting, Construction Management, and Design Build. They're looking for additional support on their estimating team so that the company can continue to grow and expand.
Job Description
Initiating and maintaining strong subcontractor and supplier relationships Read and interpret project plans and specifications Prepare project estimates including self-performed work and general requirements Develops and manages scopes of work for all trades Utilizes knowledge of the project schedule and logistics in preparing project estimates Assists with system analysis of building components and assists operations staff on project logistics, staging, phasing plans, and building coordination Collaborates with operations and field staff to develop more economical ways to construct projects during the preconstruction process Provides professional and comprehensive deliverables at the completion of estimate Understand timelines and applicable project deadlines MPI does not discriminate on the basis of race, color, religion, sex, sexual orientation, gender identity or expression, national origin, age, disability, veteran status, marital status, or based on an individual's status in any group or class protected by applicable federal, state or local law. The Successful Applicant
Bachelor's degree in Engineering or Construction related field is a plus 5+ years of construction experience with a general contractor 5+ years of estimating experience Client facing Self-sufficient Proven analytical, problem solving, organization and time management skills What's on Offer
