Job Description
Prepare detailed cost estimates and budgets for commercial construction projects Analyze drawings, specifications, and other documentation to prepare accurate estimates Collaborate with project managers, architects, and subcontractors during preconstruction Conduct quantity takeoffs and develop scopes of work Participate in bid reviews and value engineering efforts Maintain and update historical cost data and unit pricing MPI does not discriminate on the basis of race, color, religion, sex, sexual orientation, gender identity or expression, national origin, age, disability, veteran status, marital status, or based on an individual's status in any group or class protected by applicable federal, state or local law. The Successful Applicant
Minimum 5 years of experience in preconstruction for commercial general contractors Strong understanding of construction methods, materials, and market pricing Proficient in estimating software such as
Bluebeam ,
Sage Estimating ,
ProEst , or
STACK Excellent analytical, communication, and organizational skills Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment Detail-oriented with a commitment to accuracy and deadlines What's on Offer
