Construction Safety Coordinator TYPE:

Monday - Friday, 8 am - 5 pm
We are seeking a Safety Coordinator to support field operations and ensure adherence to OSHA and internal safety standards. This role is ideal for a recent college graduate or a construction professional with OSHA 30 certification who is looking to grow their career in safety leadership.
MAIN RESPONSIBILITIES
Develop and implement safety programs, protocols, and documentation, including SOPs Conduct safety training sessions and toolbox talks for field and office personnel Evaluate job sites for safety compliance and identify deficiencies or areas for improvement Monitor ongoing field activities to ensure adherence to OSHA, state, and local regulations Collaborate with site supervisors and project managers to promote safe work practices Perform regular audits, inspections, and risk assessments Investigate incidents and near misses to determine root causes and recommend corrective actions Maintain safety records and reports; compile and analyze safety performance data
QUALIFICATIONS
Bachelor's degree preferred OR hands-on construction experience with OSHA 30 certification Ability to identify hazards and act decisively in the field Excellent written and verbal communication skills; capable of working with field teams and leadership Strong organizational skills with the ability to multitask and adapt in dynamic environments Proficiency with Microsoft Office and comfort writing safety documentation and procedures
