Hours of Operation:

Monday through Friday + Overtime/Weekends

1st Shift:

6:00AM to 2:00PM

2nd Shift:

2:00PM to 10:00PM

3rd Shift:

10:00PM to 6:00AM

Essential Functions: Check the NT and PC for the correct time and date. Enter correction if necessary.

Ensure NT set-up is correct. Ensure dumped lines and manual offload settings are correct.

Make sure that all lines are set up correctly from packaging to the palletizer All conveyor product deflectors are correctly positioned for lane selections. Confirm all line purges are completed as necessary. Turn on all applicable line inducts. Make sure all photo eyes are "seeing". Adjust product guide rails on the conveyor system and palletizer for different size case / loads. Keep pallets loaded in palletizer and clear pallet fork jams Keep top cap and corner post magazines filled and fix any loads the wrapper applicator misses Keep slip sheeter magazine filled and reposition slip-sheet placement on pallet manually if needed Replace stretch wrap rolls and change labeler stickers by clearing and resetting faults and replacing broken/bent fil cutoff wire Watch for turned, damaged, taped together or no tape applied cases entering palletizer Clear all merge jams in both operations area along with warehouse area when able to reach such jams Replace bad cases to finish the load and return to the line any damage from the palletizer or manual offload Ensure proper load flow through the palletizer, manual offload, wrapper and storage conveyors and assist with offline loads as needed Keep guide rails clean and silicone sprayed as needed Use tow motor lift cage for any overhead work Record any production/maintenance/programming issues in the daily log and ensure all downtime is entered into the downtime tracker Fill out problem tags when needed, turning them into your supervisor when completed and contact line mechanics as needed Keep packaging and warehouse supervision informed of problems Use time overlap between shifts to brief takeover operators and clean work area Replace rollers, inspect belts, check oil reservoirs and lubrication points, inspect wear areas, etc. Sweep entire palletizer and both Lantechs and Octopus wrapper areas daily Dispose unserviceable pallets to the junk pallet trailer Follows Good Manufacturing Practices (G.M.P.'s) at all times. Complies with all safety, health and environmental regulations as prescribed by law. Meets Company attendance standards of start and end times for work as scheduled. Performs other duties as assigned. Complies with Company rules, regulations and policies. Physical Requirements:

Able to work in a fast-paced environment. Able to see and hear. Must have good eye/hand coordination. Physical and mental ability to work in excess of 40 hours per week. Able to lift 35-40 lbs. Uses both hands to grip, turn and operate hand jack handles. Walks up to 400 yards to work and break areas. Ability to work in variable (hot and cold) temperatures. Working Relationships:

Maintain harmonious working relationships with employee and management in all departments.

Experience and Skills:

Ability to work with minimal supervision. Good eye/hand coordination and manual dexterity. Ability to pass Company forklift license requirements.
