We are conducting a
confidential search
for a dedicated
Certified Medical Assistant (CMA)
to join a busy internal medicine practice in San Diego. This role is essential in providing high-quality patient care and supporting medical staff with both clinical and administrative responsibilities.
Key Responsibilities:
Perform patient intake, record vital signs, and assist with examinations. Conduct EKGs, administer injections, and perform blood draws. Handle phone triage and communicate effectively with patients and staff. Manage front office duties including patient check-in and check-out. Verify insurance coverage and collect payments. Maintain accurate and timely patient records. Support physicians and nurses in delivering efficient healthcare services. Qualifications:
Certified Medical Assistant credential (CMA, RMA, or similar). MediClear Certification (or equivalent) required. Prior experience in a medical or clinical setting required. Strong background in patient care and medical procedures. Excellent communication, organizational, and multitasking skills. Ability to work well in a fast-paced practice environment. Compensation & Benefits:
