As a valued member of Bishop Site team, you will report to the Packaging, Loading & Shipping (PLS) Supervisor. You will be responsible for all aspects of personal safety, product quality, and operation of the packaging equipment. Onboarding and training of new employees as well as implementing continuous improvements in these areas are your responsibility. Your commitment to workplace safety will be critical as you will be responsible to ensure compliance with safety procedures such as Safe Work, Hot Work, LOTO, management of change, and incident reporting/investigation.
During your 8-hour shift as a Warehouse Trainer, you will
Follow Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP) and general housekeeping guidelines along with rules for FDA manufacturing plant
Develop and maintain standard operating procedures related to packaging, chemical loading, and logistics activities in Documentum.
Support and perform training related to packaging, chemical loading and logistics activities including all necessary paperwork required to demonstrate cGMP and DOT compliance
Ensure employees stay current on all required training/learning activities.
Support team member growth and education in related activities.
Ensure standards of safety, environmental, team and individual performance are met in a high-performance team-based organization.
This role is primarily days, but could be required to support work during off hours on occasion.
If you...
Hold a high school diploma or GED
Possess a valid driver's license.
Have fork truck driving experience
Bring at least 6 months of packaging experience in an FDA or ISO regulated environment
Demonstrate flexibility and openness to change; are results driven, detail oriented, dependable, and safety conscious.
Have good troubleshooting and problem-solving skills, as well as basic computer skills to support SOP development and maintenance; as well as training materials
Possess excellent communication skills and ability to vary teaching style based on needs
Preferrably have operating PLC experience
