Thursday: 5 am. - 1:30 pm / Friday: 5 am - 1 pm
Pay Rate $20.00- $24.00/hr
Education:
Associates degree or Technical School Degree preferred. 3-5 years equivalent Maintenance Tech job experience Technical Skills:
Meet Technician level requirements in two of the 4 technical skills for areas as follows: Mechanical Electrical Hydraulic/Pneumatics Welding Job Duties: Mechanical:
Machine Repair - Change bearings, chain & sprockets, motors & gearboxes, parts replacements. Ability read blueprints and exploded view drawings. Able to diagnosis and trouble shoot simple non- visual problems. Perform machine installation. Requisition spare parts. Electrical
Ability to wire simple start/stop & relay control circuits. Read simple electrical schematics and ladder diagrams. Install motor and machine power wiring. Trouble shoot relay logic controls. Basic PLC Controls circuits. Hydraulic/Pneumatic
Ability to change valves, cylinders, pumps, and motors. Ability to diagnosis simple failures. Read hydraulic schematics. Welding
Ability to run a MIG welder. Ability to torch cut carbon steel. Process hot work permits. General:
Follow work order procedure for repairs and improvements to equipment and facilities. Assist in installation and start-up of new equipment and facility improvements. Help identify critical machine spare parts and preventative maintenance requirements. Work with other members of all shifts of maintenance staff for repair, Preventative Maintenance, and improvements to existing equipment. Communication of project status with Maintenance Engineer.
