No staffing agencies, please. The Inventory Analyst plays a critical role in ensuring optimal inventory levels to support manufacturing operations and meet customer demand efficiently. Minimum Qualifications: Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or a related field. Proven experience in inventory management or supply chain roles within a manufacturing environment. Proficiency with ERP systems and inventory management software. Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret sales trends and inventory data. Excellent communication and collaboration skills to work effectively across departments. Preferred Qualifications:
Certification in Supply Chain Management (e.g., APICS CPIM or CSCP). Experience with advanced data analysis tools such as Excel, SQL, or business intelligence software. Familiarity with lean manufacturing principles and continuous improvement methodologies. Knowledge of Texas manufacturing industry standards and regulations. Knowledge of SAP, root cause analysis and forecasting. Previous experience working in a fast-paced, high-volume manufacturing setting. Responsibilities:
Analyze historical sales data and inventory records to forecast demand and develop inventory plans. Monitor and manage inventory levels to ensure alignment with production schedules and sales orders. Collaborate with supply chain and procurement teams to optimize order processes and supplier lead times. Work closely with the purchasing, logistics, operations, order management, sales and warehouse team to forecast demand and accuracy. Identify root cause of inventory issues. Utilize ERP systems to track inventory movements, update records, and generate reports for management review. Identify trends and discrepancies in inventory data to recommend process improvements and cost-saving initiatives.
