About the Role:

Tramontina USA, Inc. Sugarland, TX location 77478 is seeking to hire a detail oriented Inventory Analyst. This is an in office role located at our corporate office in Sugarland, TX. No staffing agencies, please. The Inventory Analyst plays a critical role in ensuring optimal inventory levels to support manufacturing operations and meet customer demand efficiently. This position involves analyzing inventory data, sales trends, and supply chain processes to develop accurate inventory plans that minimize costs and prevent stockouts or overstock situations. The Inventory Analyst collaborates closely with procurement, production, and sales teams to align inventory management strategies with overall business objectives. By leveraging ERP systems and supply chain management tools, the analyst provides actionable insights that drive continuous improvement in inventory accuracy and order fulfillment. Ultimately, this role contributes to enhancing operational efficiency, reducing waste, and supporting the company's growth within the manufacturing sector in Texas, TX.

Minimum Qualifications: Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or a related field. Proven experience in inventory management or supply chain roles within a manufacturing environment. Proficiency with ERP systems and inventory management software. Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret sales trends and inventory data. Excellent communication and collaboration skills to work effectively across departments. Preferred Qualifications:

Certification in Supply Chain Management (e.g., APICS CPIM or CSCP). Experience with advanced data analysis tools such as Excel, SQL, or business intelligence software. Familiarity with lean manufacturing principles and continuous improvement methodologies. Knowledge of Texas manufacturing industry standards and regulations. Knowledge of SAP, root cause analysis and forecasting. Previous experience working in a fast-paced, high-volume manufacturing setting. Responsibilities:

Analyze historical sales data and inventory records to forecast demand and develop inventory plans. Monitor and manage inventory levels to ensure alignment with production schedules and sales orders. Collaborate with supply chain and procurement teams to optimize order processes and supplier lead times. Work closely with the purchasing, logistics, operations, order management, sales and warehouse team to forecast demand and accuracy. Identify root cause of inventory issues. Utilize ERP systems to track inventory movements, update records, and generate reports for management review. Identify trends and discrepancies in inventory data to recommend process improvements and cost-saving initiatives.

Skills:

The Inventory Analyst uses inventory planning and management skills daily to maintain accurate stock levels and support production demands. Supply chain management expertise enables the analyst to coordinate effectively with suppliers and internal teams, ensuring timely order processing and delivery. Proficiency in ERP systems is essential for tracking inventory records, processing sales orders, and generating insightful reports that inform decision-making. Analytical skills are applied to interpret sales trends and identify opportunities for inventory optimization and cost reduction. Strong communication skills facilitate collaboration across departments, driving alignment and continuous improvement in inventory and supply chain operations.
