Essential Duties and Responsibilities SSD test design and development in an agile-like environment, ensuring high-quality standards and efficient processes. Active participation in failure analysis and root cause analysis. Drive the full life cycle of development, from requirements gathering and high/low level design to implementation, unit testing, and comprehensive documentation. Support the delivery of cutting-edge storage products with interfaces like NVMe/PCIe. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define and implement system-level verification strategies for complex SSD designs. Contribute and enforce to the definition of best practices and coding standards for the Test Development teams. Analyze and optimize test coverage to ensure comprehensive validation of SSD functionality and performance. Develop and maintain relationships with key stakeholders, including hardware engineers, firmware developers, and quality assurance teams. Be available on-site a few days a week.

Qualifications

REQUIRED: Bachelor's or Masters degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field 10+ years of software engineering experience

SKILLS: Strong proficiency in Python scripting for automation and data processing Knowledgeable with C/C++ programming Proven track record of leading large-scale, complex software projects from conception to successful delivery In-depth knowledge of systems design verification processes and methodologies Excellent problem-solving skills with the ability to analyze complex issues and develop innovative solutions Outstanding communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively across teams Demonstrated ability to mentor and develop junior engineers

Pay position within the salary range may be based on education, qualifications, certifications, experience, skills, and job complexity, among other factors. The salary range is the range of possible compensation for this role at posting time; it may be modified in the future. Eligibility to participate in Sandisk's Short-Term Incentive (STI) Plan and, depending on role and performance, the Long-Term Incentive (LTI) program. RSU awards may be available for eligible new hires.
