Overview
As a Delivery Consultant, you will gain a thorough understanding of AWS products and services, allowing you to construct complex, scalable, and secure solutions specifically tailored for our clients. Collaborating closely with all stakeholders, you'll gather requirements, assess current infrastructures, and propose effective migration strategies to AWS. Acting as trusted advisors, you will also provide insights on industry trends and emerging technologies while leading implementation processes with a commitment to best practices, performance optimization, and risk management.
About The Team
The AWS Professional Services organization is a team of global experts dedicated to helping clients achieve their business objectives through AWS Cloud solutions. We collaborate with customer teams and the AWS Partner Network (APN) on enterprise cloud computing initiatives, offering a variety of services that guide customers in their journey toward successful cloud adoption.
Security/Eligibility
This position requires that the candidate be a US Citizen and possess the ability to obtain a Public Trust clearance or higher.
Responsibilities
Design and implement complex, scalable, and secure AWS solutions to meet customer requirements.
Provide technical guidance and support throughout project delivery.
Work collaboratively with stakeholders to define requirements and devise effective migration strategies.
Serve as a trusted advisor, sharing insights on industry trends and technologies.
Educate and assist colleagues through mentoring, training, and creating reusable resources.
Basic Qualifications
At least 2 years of experience in cloud architecture and implementation.
A bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent experience.
2+ years of experience with programming languages/technologies such as Java, Python, Ruby, Node.js, C, or C++.
Preferred Qualifications
Proficient experience using a variety of AWS services (e.g., EC2, S3, RDS, Lambda, IAM, VPC, CloudFormation) is preferred.
Excellent communication skills, capable of conveying technical concepts to diverse audiences.
2+ years of software development or application engineering with recent experience in modern programming languages including Java, JavaScript (Node.js, Angular, JQuery), Python, and others.
Experience with version control systems (e.g., GitHub, SVN).
Hands-on experience with CI/CD tools like Jenkins, Bamboo, and TeamCity.
Familiarity with APIs, microservices, and distributed application architectures.
Experience with AWS CloudFormation, Chef, Puppet, SaltStack, or Ansible in production settings.
