Job Description About the Position Specialty: Patient Care Associate (PCA) Experience: 6 months to 1 year of experience preferred in acute or long-term care License: CNA certification may be required depending on state or facility Certifications: BLS required Must-Have: Strong communication skills, basic patient care knowledge, and ability to assist with ADLs Description: The Patient Care Associate supports nursing staff by providing direct patient care including vital signs monitoring, hygiene assistance, mobility support, and documentation of patient activities. PCAs work closely with RNs and other healthcare team members to ensure high-quality, compassionate care for patients in hospitals or long-term care settings.
