The Gist We're looking for a Power BI and Microsoft Fabric pro who loves turning big, messy data into clear, interactive stories. If you can design dashboards that make decision-makers say "wow," and you're ready to guide a team while staying hands-on, this role is for you.
What You'll Do Lead the design and build of advanced Power BI dashboards that highlight key insights on student performance, attendance, HR, procurement, and operations. Create reusable datamarts, lakehouses, and semantic models in Microsoft Fabric for scalable reporting. Partner with stakeholders to translate business needs into data-driven visual solutions. Set dashboard standards, templates, and version-control practices. Optimize for performance, accessibility, and a seamless user experience. Document business logic, DAX calculations, and metadata. Manage refresh schedules and tackle performance issues. Mentor teammates and champion best practices in data storytelling. What You Bring
Bachelor's in Computer Science, Information Systems, Business Analytics, or equivalent experience. 5+ years in BI development or analytics engineering (public sector or education a plus). Expert Power BI chops: DAX, paginated reports, composite models. Strong SQL and data-modeling skills. Working knowledge of Microsoft Fabric and enterprise data systems. A knack for data storytelling and user-centered design.
