Job Description
Prepare accurate and detailed estimates for construction projects in the property industry. Analyze project drawings, specifications, and other documentation to determine project costs. Collaborate with project managers and stakeholders to ensure estimates align with project goals. Source and evaluate supplier and subcontractor bids for cost-effectiveness and accuracy. Monitor project budgets and provide updates to ensure financial targets are met. Maintain up-to-date records of all estimates, contracts, and related documentation. Identify potential risks and propose solutions to mitigate cost overruns. Stay informed of industry trends and pricing to improve estimating accuracy. A successful Commercial Estimator should have:
Strong knowledge of construction and estimating practices in the property industry. Proficiency in using estimating software and tools. Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills to assess project requirements. The ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams. Strong attention to detail and organizational skills to manage multiple tasks effectively. Effective communication skills to present estimates and cost analysis clearly. What's on Offer
