Job Description:
R&D Circuits, a member company of Advantest America, Inc., is wholly owned by Advantest Corporation (a Tokyo Stock Exchange listed company). For over 50 years, R&D Circuits has been a leader in the printed circuit board industry.
Receive incoming stock and verify against documentation for accuracy of quantity and part numbers and description and/or arranges for storing of received material in a neat and orderly arrangement onto shelves, racks, or specified floor locations. Enter inventory and accounts payable information into database. Process electronic component kits for the production floor. Issue replacement parts for the production floor. Perform inventory transactions in ERP/MRP system. Count and restock material returned from the production floor. Perform Cycle Counting of electronic components. Proper handling of moisture sensitive components (desiccants, indicators, baking, sealing) Communicates with production planners on filling shortages, pulling kits and resolving problems to keep parts and kits flowing to the production floor in a timely and cost-efficient manner. Wears personal protective equipment in accordance with training guidelines. Maintains a clean and safe work area. Adheres to established company policies and procedures paying special attention to safety regulations. Other duties as assigned. Minimum Qualifications:
Experience in an electronics manufacturing setting a plus, but not required Must have Inventory control experience Keen attention to detail, with both a thorough approach and a constant eye towards process improvement. Excellent communication skills and ability to establish and maintain positive and effective communications with other team members, customers, vendors and other third parties. Must be a team player. Knowledge of electronic components and their proper handling is desired. Must have excellent computer skills and the ability to perform inventory transactions properly. Good reading, memory skills, and math skills are required. Must be able to multitask to meet deadlines. Working knowledge of ERP/MRP systems Proficient in MS Office (Word, Excel) and ability to learn and utilize other pertinent software.
