Bus Paras assist with a variety of physical and emotional needs of students while being bused.
Duties include:
Ensure the safety and well-being of students while being bused.
Minimum Qualifications:
High School Diploma or equivalent. Must be physically working on/in bus. Ability to lift and move students. Ability to supervise students. Ability to exercise judgment and make decisions appropriate to students' needs. Ability/desire to work effectively with students with disabilities. Ability to maintain regular attendance, which includes completing an assigned day. Must be able to lift a minimum of 40 pounds. Ability to perform position responsibilities including physical factors, work devices and materials handling, data functions, and people functions.
Rate of Pay: $18.50/hour to $20.55 w/HS Diploma $19.65/hour with AA/AAS degree to $21.70 $20.50/hour with BA degree to $22.55 View additional terms and benefits here.
