Make a difference by supporting and encouraging athletes at the Special Olympics San Diego Golf Competition! Special Olympics athletes from San Diego and surrounding areas will be competing. Volunteers support the event by supervising golf games. Volunteer duties include: Making sure athletes have the necessary equipment Scorekeeping Ensure athletes abide by the rules of the game Skills assistance Awarding medals and ribbons to the athletes Opportunity Requirements & Important Notes Onboarding Process: Volunteers are required to register directly through this link. Physical Requirements: This project is able to make accommodations for individuals with physical limitations. Attire: Closed-toe shoes, comfortable pants/shorts. Please wear a light green shirt.
