Position Overview
We are seeking a creative and driven
Marketing Intern
to support our growing marketing and communications efforts. This role is ideal for someone passionate about content creation, storytelling and customer engagement - especially within the construction industry. You'll assist in strengthening our brand across our print and digital channels.
Key Responsibilities
Social Media & Content Creation
Assist in planning, scheduling and publishing content across social media platforms (Instagram, Facebook, LinkedIn, TikTok, YouTube)
Capture job site and project photos/videos for promoting our installation services on social media
Assist in the video production process for social media videos
Write engaging copy for social media, blog posts and promotional materials
Employee Communications
Support the development and distribution of internal communications and announcements
Assist in creating content for monthly employee newsletters
Help coordinate communication campaigns around company milestones or initiatives
Assist with capturing photos of new hires and drafting internal new hire announcements
Email Marketing
Assist with the creation and distribution of external marketing emails
Assist with the creation of product-specific email marketing funnels
Support formatting, list management and sending messages through MailChimp
Promotions & Campaigns
Contribute to the planning and execution of seasonal promotions, marketing campaigns and brand initiatives
Track performance metrics and engagement analytics
Event Support
Assist in planning and facilitating internal and external events (e.g., employee engagement events, customer appreciation events)
General Marketing Support
Organize and maintain photo and video libraries
Design graphics and marketing collateral using Adobe Creative Cloud
Collaborate with department managers and field staff to gather project updates, photos and video
Create graphics to display on internal digital signage
Assist with maintaining and updating the company's employee portal
Qualifications
Currently pursuing a degree in Marketing, Communications, Digital Media, or a related field
Strong communication, writing and organizational skills
Basic photography and editing skills
Basic design skills using Adobe Creative Cloud
Familiarity with social media platforms and tools
Creative mindset with attention to detail
Interest in the construction industry a plus
Reliable transportation for visiting job sites (if required)
Must be able to work a minimum of 15 hours per week, on-site at the 6th Ave. location
