Controls Engineer

Design control systems for various industrial applications. Select and procure appropriate equipment for projects. Develop electrical schematic designs. Program and design Programmable Logic Controllers (PLC). Design and program Human Machine Interfaces (HMI). Conduct site commissioning for control systems. Essential Skills
At least 3 years of experience in PLC programming with Rockwell. Proficiency in motion controls, including VFDs. Ability to read and interpret electrical schematics. Engineering Degree in Automation, Mechatronics, Robotics or Electrical Engineering/Technology. Intermediate programming skills with the ability to work independently. Additional Skills & Qualifications
Experience with Rockwell Studio5000 PLC Programming, including GuardLogix and RSLogix. Knowledge of safety programmable controllers and control systems. Familiarity with KUKA Robot Programming (training available if necessary). Understanding of NEC electrical codes and ISO 13849 Functional Safety standards. Work Environment
This position includes working on a site with a 6PM to 4AM shift, averaging 50 hours per week, with potential overtime. You will have the opportunity to travel to various international locations, including Japan in the coming year.
