Pharmacy Team Leader

Job Summary We are seeking a dynamic Pharmacy Team Leader to develop, lead, and coach a dedicated pharmacy team. In this role, you will foster strong relationships with patients by exceeding their expectations and delivering safe, accurate, and efficient patient care. Your leadership will contribute to optimal outcomes for patients, team members, and our company. Job Description Experience Required: 1 to 3 years, with a minimum of 1 year of pharmacy experience, including at least 3 months of licensed work as a Pharmacist. Experience Desired: Previous supervisory experience is preferred. Education Required: Bachelor's Degree. Certification or Licensing Required: Valid Pharmacy License; Immunization Certification; Valid CPR Certification; NPI. Lifting Requirement: Up to 25 pounds. Key Responsibilities Ensure the safe and efficient dispensing of all patient orders, adhering to quality assurance policies and procedures. Provide exemplary patient care by actively engaging with patients, addressing their needs, and providing counseling and problem-solving support. Perform all pharmacist duties, including interpreting, filling, and refilling prescriptions for medications and durable medical equipment, while maintaining updated patient profiles. Model adherence to all company, state, and federal policies, laws, and regulations, both personally and through coaching. Enhance the team and patient experience through effective scheduling, delegation of tasks, and resource management. Manage inventory by tracking reports, conducting physical counts, and ensuring proper storage of medications and supplies to meet patient needs and optimize profitability. Collaborate with the Supermarket team, including the Pharmacy District Leader and Store Leaders, to achieve maximum efficiency and profitability. Supervise and support the selection, training, and development of staff, fostering continuous team engagement and service improvement. Maintain a clean and sterile work environment, complying with all regulatory standards. Review service and business metrics, contributing to action plans for enhancing performance. Complete all necessary audits and documentation accurately and timely. Provide direct supervision and constructive feedback to team members, guiding their professional development. Create a positive and motivating work environment for all team members. Administer immunizations and engage in clinical services to maximize patient and company results. Aid in the training and onboarding of new team members, executing all company initiatives effectively. Stay informed about new drugs, therapies, and advancements in the pharmacy field to ensure continued professional development. Cultivate professional relationships with external partners, including healthcare providers and industry representatives. Perform Pharmacy Technician duties as needed.
