Job Summary As a Pharmacy Team Leader, you will play a critical role in developing and leading a dedicated pharmacy team committed to service excellence. Your focus will be on nurturing strong relationships with patients by exceeding their expectations and ensuring safe, accurate, and efficient patient care, resulting in optimal outcomes for patients, team members, and the company. Job Description Experience Required: 1 to 3 years, with a minimum of 1 year in a pharmacy setting, including at least 3 months of licensed work as a Pharmacist. Experience Desired: Previous supervisory experience is preferred. Education Required: Bachelor's Degree. Certification or Licensing Required: Pharmacy License; Immunization Certification; Valid CPR Certification; NPI required. Lifting Requirement: Up to 25 pounds. Job Responsibilities Ensure the safe and efficient dispensing of all patient orders by adhering to quality assurance policies and procedures. Provide exemplary patient care by engaging with patients, respecting their needs, and proactively solving any issues. Perform all pharmacist duties, including prescription interpretation, filling and refilling medications, and maintaining up-to-date patient profiles. Model compliance with all company policies and governmental regulations through coaching and example. Enhance team and patient experiences through effective scheduling, appropriate delegation, and resource management. Manage inventory effectively by tracking daily reports and overseeing physical counts to ensure patient needs are met while maximizing profit margins. Collaborate with the Supermarket team, including leadership from Pharmacy District, Corporate Pharmacy, and Store operations, to drive efficiency and profitability. Supervise, train, and develop team members, fostering a culture of continuous improvement and high engagement. Maintain a clean and sterile work environment that meets all compliance requirements. Analyze service and business metrics to identify areas for improvement and develop actionable strategies. Complete necessary audits and documentation promptly. Provide direct supervision and constructive feedback to team members to encourage professional growth. Foster a positive workplace environment for all team members. Administer immunizations and actively contribute to clinical services that enhance patient and company outcomes. Support the onboarding and training of new team members while promoting company initiatives. Stay informed of new drugs, therapies, and advancements within the pharmacy industry. Maintain professional competency and service skills, advocating for positive progress in patient care and pharmacy performance. Build and sustain professional relationships with healthcare partners such as physicians, nurses, and vendors. Assist as needed in Pharmacy Technician duties.
