Overview

Reynolds Community College is seeking a Director of Annual Giving to lead and manage the colleges day-to-day development activities. This role is responsible for directing the annual fund, overseeing the scholarship program, preparing and reporting on corporate and foundation grant proposals, managing donor communications, and advancing alumni outreach. Reynolds is one of the largest community colleges in Virginia and serves Virginias capital city and five nearby counties. Revenolds serves approximately 13,000 credit students and 7,400 students through the Community College Workforce Alliance. Lead and manage the colleges day-to-day development activities. Direct the annual fund and oversee the scholarship program. Prepare and report on corporate and foundation grant proposals. Manage donor communications and advance alumni outreach. Maintain a portfolio of mid-level donors to strengthen relationships and support long-term giving. Provide direct supervision to the Scholarship Coordinator and the Manager of Advancement Services; report to the Vice President of Institutional Advancement. Engage and collaborate with diverse stakeholders including community partners, students, faculty, administrators, and staff.

Qualifications / KSAs

Considerable knowledge of fundraising best practices and donor/fundraiser ethics. Demonstrated ability to foster relationships with individual, corporate, foundation, and community donors and prospects. Experience supervising professional and administrative staff and directing day-to-day activities. Budget development and management skills. Volunteer management experience. Ability to work with diverse groups and handle multiple tasks professionally. Effective oral and written communication with varied constituencies. Proficiency with current fundraising software and donor/prospect databases.

Location: Henrico - 087 Full Time Hiring Range: Salary commensurate with experience, $90,000 - $95,000 FLSA: Exempt Reporting: Reports to the Vice President of Institutional Advancement Supervises: Scholarship Coordinator and the Manager of Advancement Services
