Tutor Intelligence
The Company
Tutor Intelligence is building the technology and processes to let robots go where they've never gone before: the average American factory. We understand that general-purpose and generally-intelligent robots are going to be built in our lifetimes, and we're combining human and artificial intelligence to lead the charge. As an MIT-founded AI software company who deploys its inventions directly into the facilities that need them, on state-of-the-art hardware, every role at Tutor has a direct impact on the global, physical economy.
The Role
We are looking for an ambitious, generalist recruiter with a technical background to grow our org from ~50 to 100+ FTEs across the full robotics stack: research & engineering talent, GTM, and operations. As the first full-time recruiter at Tutor Intelligence, you will work directly with the CEO and CTO to build pipeline, evaluate candidates, and take a drivers seat in scaling the organization.
Requirements 3-5+ years experience recruiting across both technical (engineering, research, product) and GTM (sales, marketing, operations) roles Strong technical literacy; able to understand robotics, AI/ML, or adjacent deep-tech fields enough to screen candidates effectively Prior experience at an early-stage startup or fast-growing company; comfortable scaling from ~50 - 100+ employees Proven success sourcing and closing candidates across the full stack: cold outbound, campaigns, referrals, inbound funnel Fluency with modern sourcing tools (LinkedIn Recruiter, Gem, Lever, etc.), outbound email automation, and CRM best practices Track record of high-ownership execution: able to take a role from definition to closed hire with minimal hand-holding Ability to context-switch between executive recruiting, senior engineers, and GTM hires without losing momentum Strong written communication skills; able to craft outreach that resonates with both technical and commercial talent Ambitious, growth-oriented mindset; looking to scale your own career alongside the company's trajectory Comfortable reporting directly to founders, influencing hiring strategy, and building recruiting processes from scratch Nice to Haves
Experience recruiting in robotics, automation, or other frontier technology fields Exposure to employer branding, content, or community-building to attract top talent Built or scaled recruiting processes, playbooks, or teams from scratch
$100,000 - $180,000 a year
All offers include generous equity, fully covered health + dental, and unlimited PTO.
