Data Analyst
We are seeking a highly analytical and detail-oriented Data Analyst to support our transportation operation. The ideal candidate will leverage data to optimize logistics, improve operational efficiency, enhance safety, and support business decision-making. This role requires strong technical skills, knowledge of transportation systems, and the ability to communicate insights effectively to support data-informed decision-making. What You Will Do: Data Collection & Management Gather, clean, and validate data from multiple sources, including fleet management systems, GPS trackers, scheduling systems, and financial databases. Maintain data integrity and develop automated reporting pipelines. Data Analysis & Reporting Perform statistical analysis and data modeling to identify trends, inefficiencies, and opportunities for improvement. Develop dashboards and reports to monitor KPIs such as fuel efficiency, on time delivery, service completion, route optimization, asset utilization, and safety compliance. Optimization & Forecasting Use predictive modeling to forecast demand, fleet requirements, and maintenance schedules. Support strategic planning for routing, scheduling, and resource allocation. Customer Experience Insights Monitor and analyze customer satisfaction scores, complaints, and feedback trends. Identify drivers of customer satisfaction and propose strategies to enhance service quality. Collaboration & Communication Work closely with operations, logistics, fleet management, and technology teams to align data-driven insights with operational goals. Present findings to leadership in a clear, concise, and actionable manner. Cost & Efficiency Monitoring Track delivery costs, fuel usage, and vehicle wear-and-tear to identify opportunities for cost reduction. Support initiatives to optimize driver scheduling and routing miles. Candidate Profile: Skills & Qualifications: Education: Bachelors degree in Data Analytics, Statistics, Computer Science, Transportation, Logistics, or a related field. Experience: 1-3 years of experience in data analysis, preferably within transportation or logistics. Advanced knowledge with Microsoft suite especially Excel and Power Point. Strong knowledge of data visualization tools (Power BI, Tableau, or similar). Experience with route optimization software is a plus. Strong problem-solving and critical-thinking abilities. Excellent communication skills to convey insights to stakeholders. Ability to work cross-functionally and manage multiple priorities. Preferred Qualifications: Experience in transportation management systems (TMS) Experience with Samsara and fleet telematics. Experience with SQL, and Python.
