Chief Enterprise Architect
The Aeronautics Business Transformation organization is seeking an experienced Chief Enterprise Architect to lead the development and implementation of enterprise-wide technology strategies and architectures. This position will report directly to the Vice President, CIO & Digital Transformation Executive for Aeronautics. The successful candidate will be responsible for defining, modeling and implementing the organizations technology vision, aligning with business objectives, and ensuring the effective use of technology to drive business outcomes. Responsibilities: Develop, model and implement enterprise-wide technology strategies and architectures Lead cross-functional teams to design, develop, model and deploy IT solutions Collaborate with senior leadership, stakeholders, and customers to align technology with business objectives Ensure the effective use of technology to drive business outcomes, improve efficiency, and reduce costs Stay up-to-date with emerging technologies, trends, and industry best practices Develop and maintain relationships with external partners, vendors, and industry peers Provide technical leadership, guidance, and mentorship to junior staff members Participate in IT governance, risk management, and compliance activities Basic Qualifications: Bachelors degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or equivalent experience. Minimum 12 years of experience in IT architecture, with a focus on enterprise architecture, technology strategy, and innovation Proven experience in leading cross-functional teams and collaborating with senior leadership, stakeholders, and customers Strong understanding of IT trends, emerging technologies, and industry best practices Strong understanding of various Architecture frameworks and technologies at all layers of the stack (network, application, OS, etc.) Exceptional record of sustained technical achievement, job performance, and continuing technical growth Demonstrated technical and technology leadership with significant business impact Excellent communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, prioritize multiple tasks, and meet deadlines Experience with IT service management frameworks and agile methodologies Desired Skills: Advanced degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field (Masters or Ph.D.) Familiarity with Lockheed Martins business operations, products, and services Enterprise architecture framework certification Experience with cloud computing (e.g., AWS, Azure), cybersecurity, and data analytics Knowledge of IT governance, risk management, and compliance Experience with digital transformation, innovation, and emerging technologies (e.g., AI, blockchain, IoT) Strong business acumen, with experience in budgeting, cost management, and ROI analysis Ability to develop and maintain relationships with external partners, vendors, and industry peers Experience with Lockheed Martins proprietary systems and tools Security Clearance Statement:

Schedules range from standard 40 hours over a five day work week while others may be condensed. Schedule for this Position: 4x10 hour day, 3 days off per week Pay Rate: The annual base salary range for this position in most major metropolitan areas in California and New York is $208,600 - $361,560. For states not referenced above, the salary range for this position will reflect the candidates final work location. Please note that the salary information is a general guideline only.
