Job Description:
Peer Financial Coaches (PFCs) serve as first-tier financialaid representatives to assist students with navigating Financial Aid processesat the College. This can include applying for various financial aid programs,navigating My Tri-C Space and Blackboard, and applying for public benefits.PFCs will also assist the Student Financial Aid and Scholarships (SFAS) officein performing outreach activities, such as campus events, website review, andoutbound phone calls.
PFCs areexpected to become adept at learning and understanding financial aid programsand public benefit options to help meet a wide range of student needs,including:
Completion of Financial Aid Applications and Documents (FAFSA, Scholarships, Verification Forms, SAP Appeals) Department Outreach (Campus Events, Workshops, Financial Literacy) Assist with SFAS Services Other department and office duties as assigned Minimum GPA of 2.0 and maintain semester enrollment of atleast 6 credit hours Maintain Satisfactory Academic Progress (SAP) Excellent interpersonal and customer service skills Ability to follow directions with attention to detail Proficient Computer and Technology Skills (Microsoft Office,Internet, Software Programs, etc.) Ability to work as part of a team adhere tocollege's confidentiality policy; successfullypass background check

If hired, you must reside in the state of Ohio and be within commuting distance of this work location/campus to respond to onsite work demands upon the employment start date and throughout the duration of your employment with the College, as outlined in 3354:1-40-01.1 Recruitment and Selection Procedure.
