Overview

Training Specialist I role at Maxim Healthcare (Home Care). The Training Specialist I will facilitate and deliver learning solutions in both traditional and virtual classrooms, develop training materials, implement and present training initiatives, and measure training effectiveness. The position works independently with some guidance from the Learning and Development Manager and/or Training Specialist III. Responsibilities Facilitate learning in both traditional and virtual classrooms Utilize varied presentation methods to accommodate adult learning styles Manage and supervise the classroom, identify gaps in training needs, and respond accordingly Prepare and send course communications to participants as appropriate Maintain version control and updates to training content (PowerPoint, facilitator guides) Collaborate with the Learning and Development Manager, Instructional Designers and subject matter experts to conduct needs analyses to ensure training aligns with business objectives Work with the Instructional Designer to design exercises, activities and assessments Develop training support materials (e.g., job aids) that reinforce learning Run training reports and analyze data related to training effectiveness and satisfaction Conduct train-the-trainer sessions for instructors and subject matter experts as appropriate Collaborate to promote and market training initiatives Remain current with industry advances and incorporate improvements into training Contribute to continuous improvement of the Learning and Development process Partner with the Training Coordinator to enhance the classroom experience Performs other duties as assigned

Qualifications

BA/BS degree in Human Resources, Instructional Technology, Adult Education or related field preferred 1-2 years experience facilitating and delivering adult learning in both traditional and virtual settings Knowledge of adult learning principles and needs assessment techniques Strong verbal and written communication skills Facilitation, presentation and listening skills Proficiency in Microsoft Office Basic skills in using synchronous learning platforms (e.g., WebEx) Ability to collaborate with teammates, subject matter experts and project teams Must meet federal, state, and local requirements

Salary and Benefits

Base pay range: $50,000.00/yr - $60,000.00/yr Annual Bonus: potential up to $4,000 per year Health, Retirement and Other Benefits
