Swing Shift Industrial Machinery Maintenance Technician
This full-time, permanent position as a Swing Shift Industrial Machinery Maintenance Technician offers a unique opportunity to join a state-of-the-art paper product manufacturing company located in the De Pere, Wisconsin area. Salary:
Up to $62,000 per year
Essential Duties and Responsibilities: Maintenance of a wide range of electro-mechanical paper product making machinery. Handle troubleshooting, repairs, and preventive maintenance activities. Operate and maintain both DC and AC drive systems. Program, troubleshoot, and maintain Programmable Logic Controllers (PLCs). Ensure compliance with safety standards and protocols. Participate in ongoing technical, safety, and operational process training. Minimum Position Qualifications:
Ability to work a five-day, twelve-hour rotating shift including a block of six days off every three weeks. An electrical mechanical degree, diploma, or similar certification. Proven experience in electro-mechanical maintenance in an industrial environment. Hands-on experience with PLC systems and AC/DC drive systems. Ability to travel as needed, approximately every other month for two days. Stable work history with fewer short-term job changes. U.S. Citizenship or Green Card holder. Residence within a 45-minute commute to the De Pere, Wisconsin area. Preferred Qualifications:
Advanced certifications or specialized training in PLC, mechanical or electrical systems. Previous experience in a paper manufacturing facility or similar industry. Strong problem-solving skills and proficiency in identifying potential issues before they arise. Excellent team collaboration abilities. Flexibility to work Saturdays or additional hours as required by production needs. Skills:
Strong communication and interpersonal skills. Detailed knowledge of maintenance protocols and machinery functions. Technical aptitude for managing detailed automation and control systems.
