We are partnering with our client to identify a
Senior Bridge Engineer
who will be responsible for planning, scheduling, conducting and coordinating detailed phases of bridge projects. Our ideal candidate will have previous experience leading and mentoring a team and providing technical development of proposals and external presentations. A Professional Engineer (PE) license is required. Our client's bridge team is an innovator in the industry. They are on the forefront of bridge design developing new solutions that reduce cost and maintenance and utilize accelerated bridge construction (ABC) techniques to reduce road closure impacts.
The Senior Bridge Engineer resolves highly complex technical issues and continuously monitors the progress and performance on a project to ensure efficient production and uncover potential problems. The professional in this role recognizes technical discrepancies in analytical results and makes appropriate corrections following standard procedures and recommends alterations to development and design to improve quality of design.

Hybrid: 3 days in Columbus office and 2 days remote Experience: Bachelor's degree in civil engineering or related field required Professional Engineer (PE) license required Ohio PE preferred Minimum 10 years' engineering experience required Structures management experience required AASHTOWare BrR load rating experience preferred Steel and Prestressed Concrete Bridge Design Experience required ODOT experience strongly preferred Demonstrates a strong knowledge of the structural engineering discipline with the proven ability to practically apply engineering best practices Advanced proficiency with engineering, computational, and modeling software (AutoCAD, MicroStation, MIDAS, Bentley Systems etc.) Understands basic business practices and laws related to engineering Desire and ability to mentor junior staff Effective verbal and written communication skills with the ability to adapt communication style to suit various audiences Proficiency with MS Office software required An active role in a professional engineering society/organization preferred #LI-CD1
