The Inventory Control Coordinator is responsible for overseeing and maintaining accurate inventory records across warehouses or storage locations. This role ensures efficient inventory flow, accuracy of stock levels, and resolution of discrepancies. The coordinator will collaborate with warehouse staff, procurement, and other departments to maintain optimal inventory levels and support operational efficiency.
Key Responsibilities:
Monitor inventory levels and perform regular cycle counts and full physical inventories.
Investigate and resolve inventory discrepancies and variances.
Maintain accurate inventory records in ERP system.
Coordinate stock movements including transfers, returns, adjustments, and write-offs.
Assist in the development and implementation of inventory control procedures and best practices.
Liaise with procurement, production, and shipping departments to ensure inventory alignment.
Generate regular inventory reports for management and stakeholders.
Support audits and compliance with company policies.
Identify slow-moving or obsolete inventory and suggest actions for disposition.
Ensure proper labeling, storage, and rotation of inventory (e.g. FIFO).
Assist Parts Department with return requests from customers and Service provider
Qualifications:
High school diploma or equivalent; associate’s degree in supply chain, or related field .
5+ years of experience in inventory control, warehouse, or supply chain operations.
Familiarity with inventory software, ERP systems (e.g., SAP, Oracle, NetSuite).
Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
Ability to analyze data and resolve problems effectively. Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and other MS 365 applications.
Ability to work independently and in a team environment.
Physical Requirements:
Ability to stand, walk, and lift up to 50 lbs as needed.
Work in warehouse environments with varying temperatures and noise levels.
