The Kraft Heinz Company is currently seeking a
KHMS Continuous Improvement Lead
to work at our food processing facility in Newberry, SC! Successful candidates are encouraged to contribute improvement ideas to help sustain and enhance plant success. Under the direction of the Operations Manager and Continuous Improvement Manager, and supported by management staff, the individual will adhere to the responsibilities outlined in the job description. This includes owning results for clean inspect and lube, centerline management system, 5S system, process data integrity, and Oscar scrap elimination system. Responsibilities include participating in annual planning, weekly PDCA meetings, daily Level 2 meetings, leading transformation analysis, defining centerlines, developing standard procedures, and leading root cause analysis for process losses. The role also involves coaching teams on CIL, CLM, 5S, FPQ, Process Control, Oscar Systems, and developing problem-solving skills within the team. Essential Functions & Responsibilities: Facilitates Line Loss Analysis and improvement plans (GE Current/Future State) Responsible for processes: Clean-Inspect-Lube System, Centerline Management System, Finished Product Quality System, Oscar Scrap Elimination System Maintains integrity of WEV OEE (Downtime Recording) data Analyzes line data to identify loss opportunities Results-driven with perseverance Interpersonal skills to engage and motivate employees Ability to quickly learn and apply new information in a fast-paced environment Meticulous in documentation, capable of basic equipment setup and teardown Willing to attain green belt certification within a year Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
Physical Requirements & Qualifications:
Ability to perform physical activities such as climbing, stooping, lifting (up to 50 pounds), etc. High school diploma or GED required; experience in data manipulation and mechanical aptitude preferred
Work Environment:
Primarily indoor work, in wet and cold conditions. PPE required includes bump cap/hard hat, safety glasses, slip-resistant shoes, and hearing protection. About Us
