Job Purpose
This position is responsible for providing professional level support in creating, implementing, and evaluating training programs to enhance employee skills and knowledge, ensuring alignment with organizational goals.
This position will seek out new training techniques and stay up-to-date on industry trends to provide the most effective training programs possible. Strong communication and interpersonal skills are crucial in the role.

Essential Functions
Assess Training Needs: Conduct needs assessments to identify skill gaps and training requirements through surveys, interviews, and consultations with employees and management. Design and Develop Training Programs:
Create effective training materials and programs, to include online modules, videos and other e-learning materials. Develop and deliver training programs on various topics, including policies, procedures, soft skills and technology. Deliver Training Sessions:
Facilitate training sessions using various instructional techniques, ensuring engagement and effective learning. Evaluate Training Effectiveness:
Measure the success of training programs through feedback, assessments and performance metrics, making adjustments as necessary to improve outcomes. Collaborate with Stakeholders:
Work with subject matter experts and other HR professionals to ensure training aligns with business objectives and employee development goals. Special Projects:
Work with other HR team members on cross-functional initiatives related to process improvements. Perform special assignments and activities based on expertise and opportunity as they become available or are identified.
Minimum Qualifications
Bachelor's degree from an accredited institution of higher education in Human Resources, Organizational Development, Business Administration, Business Management, Instructional Design, Education or related area. Two (2) years of professional experience in training development and presentation. Knowledge and application of training and professional development methodologies, techniques and strategies.
Skills Required: Strong Communication Skills:
Excellent written and oral communication skills with proven ability to convey information clearly and effectively to diverse audiences. Instructional Design Skills:
Proficiency in designing engaging and effective training materials and programs. Analytical Skills:
Capability to assess training needs and evaluate program effectiveness using data-driven approaches. Interpersonal Skills:
Ability to build relationships and work collaboratively with employees at all levels of the organization. Experience performing with a high level of diplomacy, confidentiality and trust while projecting a professional and positive image.
Preferred Qualifications
Experience working in Oracle or other HCM systems. Experience working in a Learning Management System (LMS).
Work Hours
Typical hours are Monday-Friday, 8:00 a.m. - 4:30 p.m.
Compensation and Benefits
Salary Commensurate with education and experience. Pay Grade 11.
