Company has been in business since 1982 providing fresh produce and other products to restaurants and other end users. Due to continued growth and expansion into the market, we are currently accepting applications for Local Truck Driver Non CDL Route Delivery to work in our distribution warehouse within 30 miles of Bartlett, IL.

Compensation - Average annual salary $55,000-$65,000 per year which includes:

Hourly wage of $19.50 per hour Overtime paid after 40 hours per week Typical work week is 45-55 hours per week Safety shoes required; $250 vouchers provided per year. Weekly paychecks Benefits - Eligible 1 st of the month following 60 day probation period

Monday-Saturday, off Sunday and Wednesday Start times typically 7:00am; work until work is completed, usually 10-12 hours per day No layovers, home every day Redeliveries and same-day deliveries within 150-mile radius of Bartlett, IL Must be flexible with work schedule, work schedule may change based on business needs Responsibilities

Fingerprint 400-900 cases per day, highly physical, touch freight. Some deliveries require going up and down stairs. Work in refrigerated environments inside and outdoor elements, year-round. Secure loads using load straps before and after every stop. Route delivery, driver unload using ramp and 2-wheel hand cart Touch freight, case delivery of food-grade products to restaurants, schools, and end users Drive 15' box truck to transport materials and equipment to specific route destinations Secure pallets using straps. Strap and unstrap at each delivery. Document pre-trip and post-trip inspections Manage hours of service (HOS) and ensure DOT compliance Use of keys, alarm codes, tablets, etc. for overnight deliveries Provide excellent customer service Checking mechanical aspects of the vehicle Reporting maintenance/repair issues on tractors and trailers Requirements

Must be a minimum of 21 years old Hold a valid Driver's License from state of Illinois Local, multiple-stop delivery using ramp and hand cart in the city of Chicago highly preferred. Must be able to obtain DOT Medical Card and be able to pass pre-employment DOT drug and criminal background screen Be in excellent physical condition and be able to stand, sit, kneel, bend, lift, push, pull for extended periods and have normal use of senses Able to work in all types of environments and under difficult conditions; hot, cold, dust, indoors, outdoors Legally eligible to work in the U.S. Must be able to read, speak, write, and understand English Must pass pre-hire drug screen and physical Be able to lift, push, pull 65 pounds with no assistance
