Lead and manage the nursing staff within the Cardiac Progressive Care unit, including recruitment, training, scheduling, and performance evaluation. Oversee patient care activities within the unit, ensuring compassionate, patient-centered, and high-quality care delivery. Manage day-to-day operations of the Cardiac Progressive Care Unit, including resource allocation, equipment maintenance, and inventory management. Ensure compliance with hospital policies, regulatory requirements, and accreditation standards related to cardiac care services. Collaborate effectively with interdisciplinary teams to coordinate patient care and optimize cardiac care services. Serve as a key leader and responder during cardiac emergencies, providing direction and support to the team. Candidate requirements
Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) required; Master's degree in Nursing (MSN) or related field preferred. Current Registered Nurse (RN) license in the state of Washington. Minimum of 5 years of clinical nursing experience in cardiac care, with at least 3 years in a supervisory or leadership role. Basic Life Support (BLS) and Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certifications are required. Certification in Cardiac Nursing (CCRN) is preferred.
